I am having a tough time of late , a few horses i backed that i should not have in hindsight and my very good profit margin has slowly slipped away from me so i have to work very hard in trying to restore a good profit , and i hope that begins from today Tuesday 1/6/10. New month , new agenda .. Have a prosperous day everyone.
My first bet comes in the 3:15 Leicester , The Hermitage. This horse won a maiden in Newmarket but has been mostly out of form since. Last year this horse finished 2nd in a 5 furlong Listed event so if re-capping that form would nearly be a shoe-in tomorrow. The only problem is that the horse is very inconsistent but last time it ran a very good race , finishing 2nd to Maison Brillet over 7 furlongs at Thirsk that day at a big price and ran from the front that day and was just caught near the line. Runs off the same mark of 73 tomorrow , same ground , same class and same trip so there is no reason to think this horse isn't a very good e/w bet at the forecast price of 7/1. 2 Points e/w.
My second bet comes in the 5:00 Redcar , Interest Free. This horse has shaped with a bit of promise on all of its 3 maiden races and is in a handicap tomorrow for the first time. I am always very interested in horses that have been given 3 maiden runs and then switched into a handicap , lots of trainers have the intention on winning the first handicap it goes into and no better trainer of late than Easterby. On its last outing it was 3rd to Fairy Shoes at Musselburgh and the 2nd placed horse that day , Mrs Mogg , has come out yesterday and ran 2nd again , somewhat upholding the form. The jockey booking of Paul Hanagan looks significant and i think this horse should go well at the forecast price of 7/1. 2 Points e/w.
My final bet is in the 5:30 Redcar , Boy Racer. This horse started out its career with Mark Johnston and ran with credit its first 2 races. Interestingly tomorrow is its first ever attempt at a sprint trip. On its very first run the horse went off a very short favourite so something must have been though of it but things dont seem to have worked according to plan. Is now running in a Class 6 Maiden Amateur Riders race tomorrow and if they let the horse bowl along in front , it could well sneak into the places if not win and very interestingly he has one of the best amateur riders on board tomorrow , Mr S Dobson. Tentative e/w selection at the forecast price of 10/1. 1 Point e/w.

Monday 31/5/10
My first selection today runs in the 3:45 Goodwood , Standout. This is an Orotario colt and is out of Kingmambo. On pedigree i think a mile is its trip but every Hannon newcomer is very dangerous. The favourite is Dr Green also trained by Hannon but i reckon another one of his little fiddles could be on here today. A couple of days ago i had King Of Jazz backed who is trained by Hannon and went off favourite only for his outsider who was backed from 40/1 into 25/1 to come and spoil the party and make me feel sick inside. This is not a great maiden at all and i think this horse can give the favourite a big run for its money , im hoping Spencer gives it a prominent ride at the forecast price of 5/1. 4 Point Win.
My second bet is Mujood , runs at 4:20 Goodwood. This horse loves it around here at Goodwood , has won at the Course 5 times , has won over this distance 3 times and has won over C+D 2 times. Has been in great form already this season and there is more to come im sure. Loves the trip , loves good to firm ground so conditions are perfect. Is up against some very good horses today and is up a couple of pounds , but i feel it can give a very solid run and might win at the forecast price of 15/2. 2 Points e/w.
My final bet comes in the 5:55 Chepstow , Loyal Royal. This horse has a poor enough win strike-rate but ran a blinding race last time and showed it might be coming into some good form. Interestingly it is 10 pounds below its last winning mark so if back to its best , should take a lot of beating. On its last run at Wolverhampton , it only lost out by a neck to Only A Game. Has run off a mark of 95 earlier in its career so running off 50 today is a very leniant mark. Should go well at the forecast price of 8/1 and my only concern is the change from AW to Turf. 1 Point e/w.

Sunday 30/5/10
My first bet today is in the Fonwell 3:00 , Theres No Panic. This horse had not lived up to expectations until its most recent run. Won a bumper and when contesting a handicap last time i was very impressed with the manner it won. It was only an amateurs event it won last time but did it in great fashion , beating Canni Thinkaar by 4 1/2 lengths at Plumpton over 2 miles 5 furlongs on good to firm ground. The extra furlong should be fine today. What caught my eye is that the horse has run on good to firm ground twice , and won both which were its only wins also. Todays going is good to firm so thats a big plus. Is a very lightly raced horse , Nicholls knows how to improve a horse greatly and this horse could take all the beating at the forecast price of 4/1. 4 Points Win.
My second bet of the day comes in the 3:50 Uttoxeter , Douglas. This horse has ran 3 races , the first 2 being very poor runs but i saw a lot of promise in the last run , even if it was a poor race it finished 2nd in. It lost by 10 lengths to Worth A Kings over C+D a couple of weeks ago , it looked like the step up in trip brought about some improvement in the horse and with C+D experience i feel the horse could be all the sharper today and also acts on good ground. It was a Class 4 race it was 2nd in last time and is now in a Class 5 maiden hurdle today so could well be in the mix come the finish line if natural inprovement progresses. Should go well at the forecast price of 8/1. 2 Points e/w.
My last bet of the day comes in the 4:40 Newmarket , Tap Dance Way. This horse ran a fine race last time , finishing 3rd of 11 to Cansili Star at Lingfield over 7 furlongs. I feel this horse could have won that race as it ran very green , ran on the complete outside for the whole race where you lose lengths on each corner and im sure there is more improvement in this horse , although today is a very decent maiden but that will enhance the price which i see as a good value bet. I think the turf and ground will suit today and i think it is overpriced at the forecast price of 14/1. 1 Point e/w.

After a terrible day yesterday , all i can do is try my best today Saturday 29/5/10. I hope this is informative.
My first bet of the day comes in the 3:20 Newmarket , Walk On Water. This is very lightly raced , has only had the 3 runs and has won 2 of those. On its losing outing , it was 6th but could have been due to the soft ground. Henry Cecil is in terrific form , especially on Saturday's and this horse is open to a lot of improvement. On its debut at Ascot over 6 furlongs on good ground , it won a Class 3 maiden stakes impressively. It then went on to Chester and won a 6 furlongs Class 2 contest cosily on good to firm ground. Then on its only other outing at Salisbury over 6 furlongs on soft ground , it finished 6th of 7 so its easy to forgive the horse that run as it seems to run best on good ground. Is back down to Class 2 tomorrow on good to firm ground so im expecting a big run. It is a very competitive contest tomorrow with 20 runners entered so will be paying 4 places and should go well a the forecast price of 12/1. 1 Point e/w.
In the 4:30 Newmarket , 1 horse stands out for me , King Of Jazz. This horse cost 48,000 dollars as a yearling and on debut ran a cracking race , travelled very well and was closing fast late on. Richard Hannon does tremendously well with his 2 year olds and with the experience of the first run behind it , i feel the horse can make it tell tomorrow and it will be a tough horse to beat i think. The maiden it contested in Newbury 14 days ago looked like a very decent maiden , it was a Class 4. Is in the same grade tomorrow and with so many newcomers in the field i think the experience can shine at the forecast price of 7/2. 4 Points win.
There is one more horse that i like at a decent price , runs in the 5:25 Beverley , Lord Of The Reins. This horse has not been at its best past few runs but is a very talented sprinter for the grade its in. Runs over 5 furlongs tomorrow and the horse has won over 5 furlongs 7 times already in its career. Has won off marks as high as 80 , 75 and 73 so the mark of 72 tomorrow is very fair and must have a big chance if back near its best. Goes best on good to firm ground also and has the up and coming Freddy Tylicki on board. I think this horse would be overpriced at the forecast price of 16/1. 2 Points e/w.

After yet another huge priced near miss yesterday , i think today is the day. Funky Friday , 28/5/10.
My first bet tomorrow is a big fancy for me , runs in the 2:20 Newmarket , Wafeira. This horse is Henry Cecil's first debutant of 2010 and its breeding is very interesting as it is out of Dansili , a very good breed. Mr Cecil has had an amazing season so far already racking up plenty of winners. He knows how to get one ready and the well regarded Mr Abdulla is the owner , i can see this horse running a huge race tomorrow and according to breeding , ground and trip are fine. Should go very well at the forecast price of 4/1. 5 Point win.
The next horse i have interest in runs in the 3:20 Newcastle , Lisbon Lion. This horse is overdue a win and i think it will come tomorrow for sure. Has been placed 3 of its last 4 starts for its current yard an also should go well on the turf. Runs off 53 tomorrow but has come 2nd twice off 53 already and is still fairly lightly races. The wonderful Freddie Tylicki is on board tomorrow who is the next Ryan Moore in my own opinion. In its last race it lost out to Blackstone Vegas by a length at Wolverhampton over 1 mile 4 furlongs in an apprentice race but was ridden by Miss Rebecca Sparkes that day and no disrespect to the lady but she is not a talemted jockey at all so the jocky booking tomorrow is a big plus. This horse will be winning soon and i feel it could be tomorrow at the forecast price of 5/1. 3 Points win.
My last bet comes in the 4:05 Newmarket , One Way Or Another. This horse has not been successful in Britain yet but has won 4 times in Australia in 2008. Its most memorable run was when finishing 3rd to the highly regarded Kaldoun Kingdom at Doncaster in March , was 3rd of 18 runners that day and only lost out by half a length and had trouble in running that day. That was a Grade 2 race and is dropped into Grade 3 tomorrow. Its last run was poor , finishing 26th of 29 runners at Ascot but that day had a dreadful draw in stall 28 so it really had no chance from there , it is easy to forgive the horse that run. Ran off 90 that day in Doncaster and runs off the same mark today and Simon Pearce takes a further 5 pounds off tomorrow. Has a very decent e/w chance at the forecast price of 12/1 and is still lightly raced in Britain , should be winning before long. Also tomorrow thus far 16 horses are running and if remaining the same will be paying 4 places. 1 Point e/w

4 days of slight loss in a row , i hope i can turn the tide today , Thursday 27/5/10.
My first bet is a tentative selection in the 2:00 Wolverhampton , Librettista. This is running its first race tomorrow and is out of Elusive Quality and is also related to some very useful middle-distance winners. If there is market support for this horse tomorrow i would be very interested in having a decent bet but as it is unraced the market should tell the story so it is only a tentative selection. Kirsty Milczarek takes the ride and she is known for causing a big upset , she is a very talented female jockey. Is an Australian horse , breeding looks good and might go well at the forecast price of 12/1. 1 Point e/w.
I am very interested in a horse in the 3:30 Wolverhampton , Lastroseofsummer. This horse ran 3 very average maiden races but on its handicap debut over 1 mile 6 furlongs last time out , it ran a superb race @ 33/1 , finishing 3rd to Broughtons Point here at Wolverhampton. The horse wasn't fancied that day but im sure connections will be quietly confident tomorrow. David Probert took the ride last time and the horse travelled very well for him , Probert is also one of the best young jockeys in the country. Is stepped up to 2 miles tomorrow and i think that will suit perfectly as the horse travels well and looked like it wanted a bit further last time out. Ran off 58 last time , runs off 60 tomorrow so is well treated and improvement i feel is expected. Should go well at the forecast price of 6/1. 2 Points e/w.
My last bet comes in the 5:20 Ayr , Optical Illision. This horse won over 6 furlongs at Hamilton last June but since then has not really fulfilled too much promise. Had its yearly debut last Monday at Carlisle , finishing 5th of 11 to the impressive King Of Eden over 6 furlongs. I feel it just needed that run and will come on a lot for it. Is running off 55 tomorrow and has already won off 55 before. Is best suited by good to firm ground which is a plus. A major plus for me is the assignment of Lee Topliss , who is the best 7 pound claimer i have possibly ever seen in my lifetime. This jockey is destined for great things and with a firther 7 pounds off Optical Illusion's back tomorrow along woth this lads talented riding skills , i have a great feeling this horse has to go close tomorrow in what is a poor enough Class 6 race. Strong win bet for me at the forecast price of 4/1. 4 Points win.

Wednesday 26/5/10 next , hope ye all have a glorious days punting.
My first bet comes in the 4:25 Ayr , Sirenuse. This is a very speedy filly who ran a cracker last time , winning a 5 furlong handicap at Thirsk this month. Is only up 4 pounds for that run and he won from pillar to post last time out so might not be caught tomorrow. Is a lightly raced horse , has won twice over the distance , both on good ground and i think this horse is destined for better things. A few decent horses were behind last time out including Indian Trail , Brierty and Peak District so im expecting a big run tomorrow and i think the forecast price of 10/3 is attractive. 4 Points Win.
My second bet of the afternoon comes in the 5:00 Sedgefield , Downing Street. This horse has been very consistent over hurdles but jumping has cost it on a few occasions as it has fallen on a few occasions. I feel this horse is thrown in by the handicapper tomorrow as he has won off marks of 109 twice and 116 and runs off 95 tomorrow so if fresh tomorrow i feel will run a big race and possibly win. Wears a visor and tongue-tie tomorrow. Looks to have a solid shout at the forecast price of 10/1. 2 Points e/w.
My final bet is a tentative choice , runs in the 5:35 Sedgefield , Island Sprite. This horse has only had the one run and ran a poor race but is related to several winners and might come on a lot for the run. Todhunter knows how to get one ready and can go well at the forecast price of 12/1. 1 Point e/w.

The difference between profit and loss today was a head. Fazbee looked a sure winner but just got caught on the line. He was 2nd @ 8/1. Tres Froide could only manage 7th and Warning Song was also down the field.

I hope i can turn Tuesday 25/5/10 into a profitable one. Yesterday i had a small loss , any profit would be appreciated today.
My first bet comes in the 2:40 Ripon , Tres Froide. This horse was successful in France and when running off a low mark won a ladies race over 1 mile 2 furlongs a Redcar last October. Ran a very respectable race last time out and looks a progressive type. Its last race was at Nottingham over 1 mile 2 on good ground , finished 6th of 14 to Royal Straight , a decent Fahey horse for the grade. The race it won at Nottingham , the horse did it in great fashion , winning by 5 lengths beating a field of 13 horses. That day it beat a horse called Thunderstruck , a horse trained by the Glover crew who has since in 13 runs has won 4 races and has been placed in a further 7 races which is pretty good to frank Tres Froide's form. Won off 52 that day and is running off 57 tomorrow but should be able tocope with that. Has ran off a mark of 77 before. Interestingly Joe Fanning takes the ride and i find that a positive booking. Could go very well at the forecast price of 12/1. 2 Points e/w.
My next bet comes in the 3:30 Lingfield , Fazbee. This horse took advantage of a low weight when winning over 6 furlongs at this track in January. Has not been at its best since then but that has to change sooner rather than later. Has to be a very big contender as it has never run in this low a grade (Class 6 Claiming Stakes) as it runs tomorrow. Another positive is that blinkers are re-fitted tomorrow. Has won over 7 furlongs tomorrow at Yarmouth on good to firm ground so tomorrows conditions are fine. There has also been signe that the D'Arcy stable might start to come into form , i have seen a few gambles on their horses in recent days. Should make a bold bid at the forecast price of 6/1. 2 Points e/w.
My final bet is a tentative choice in the 4:00 Lingfield , Warning Song. This horse was placed 5 out of its 6 starts as a 2 year old but on its turf handicap return at this track it was poor. In saying that i will give the horse the benefit of the doubt , i feel it needed that run and will come on for it. The race it finished 11th of 15 last time out was a Class 3 race , is now running in a Class 5 tomorrow which is a plus. Had some very good placed efforts last year , Pat Dobbs takes the ride and Amanda Perrett had a couple of nice winners in recent day so should go well and might give us a run at the forecast price of 20/1. 1 Point e/w.

Ace Of Spies didnt enjoy the step up in trip and could only manage 5th , Hettie Hubble ran poor but El Dececy put in a good showing , held up out the back and flew home to grab 3rd @ 14/1 , 2 Points e/w advised. Nonetheless a slight loss today.

Monday 24/5/10 is a quiet day of racing but hopefully i have found 3 decent bets at Carlisle where i will be sticking to.
My first punt will come in the 3:15 in the form of Ace Of Spies. This horse improved very much last spring and looks like he will have another very good year this year after his last run , where he won impressively on his first run of the year. That was over 5 furlongs but this extra furlong should be no problem as the horse travels very well and looks like he stays further. Should cope with the penalty as last run was its first run back and should be fitter and sharper tomorrow. Won on good ground already so tomorrows ground is fine. Winners have come out of the last race it won , Silvestre De Souza knows the horse well and should make a very bold bid tomorrow at the forecast price of 7/2. 4 Point win.
My second bet runs in the 4:45 , El Dececy. Front runner whose last 4 wins have all come in sellers but i dont mind that too much as on his day he would wipe this field. Made a decent return this year , finishing 6th of 13 in a Class 5 handicap at Thirsk before running a poor race last time out at Doncaster but that day i dont think the trip of 7 furlongs suited at all and is now dropped back to 5 furlongs tomorrow which i feel will suit as he has won over 5 already. Has won off a mark of 80 and runs off 62 tomorrow so im expecting a bold showing at the forecast price of 12/1. 2 Points e/w.
My final bet comes in the form of Hettie Hubble , 5:15 , who i backed the other day actually and i felt it ran a very decent race. Is 2 pounds out of the handicap tomorrow and is a low grade maiden but i felt his last run finishing 3rd and even though it was a seller it led for the first few furlongs , got headed and went back into 5th 1 furlong out but stayed on gamely again to finish 3rd. Was 2nd off a mark of 53 before and runs off 50 tomorrow and might come on for that run and run into a place at the forecast price of 16/1. 1 Point e/w.

Made a slight loss today and i am disappointed that i didnt tip Touch of Style as an e/w selection as he was 2nd @ 9/1. Sir Bathwick was well backed and i had advised e/w , he was 2nd @ 3/1. Danzigs Grandchild didnt fetch market support so that sealed his faith. Onwards and upwards.

Sunday 23/5/10 brings another day. I hope i can take off where i finished up yesterday, hopefully i have found some decent bets to back.
My first bet is a very tentative selection in the 2:05 Bath , Danzigs Grandchild. This is a March foal who is a half-sister to several winners in the USA , including Grade 3 winner Millie's Quest over a mile. The Moore yard have already sent out 2 winning debutants this year in this kind of race and if money comes for this horse tomorrow it would be definately worth noting as this is a weak maiden and wont take much winning. Tentative choice at the forecast price of 16/1. 1 Point e/w.
My second bet comes in the shape of Touch Of Style , Bath 3:35. This horse posted a couple of fair efforts over 1 mile 2 at Lingfield in August but was very poor after that and then left Tim McCarthy. Is now with Matthew Salaman and ran a blinder on its return , finishing 3rd to Shared Moment who has come out and ran well since , finishing 2nd. That last run also came on soft ground but im sure this horse is better on good ground so im expecting a big run. Has won off a mark of 70 and runs off a mark of 46 tomorrow, so is very well treated and the decent apprentice Louis-Phillipe Beuzelin takes off another 3 pounds. Is a very winnable race and should go well at the forecast price of 9/2. 3 Point win.
My final bet of the day comes at the 4:20 Perth , Sir Bathwick. This is a front-running chaser and had its best effort for some time when winning an 8 runner event at Wincanton on return to fences a coupe of weeks ago. If he is in the same mood tomorrow he is sure to be in the places as he is still well treated. Has come second off a mark of 129 and runs off 121 tomorrow so if back to his best i feel could take some pegging back. Trip is fine and the good ground will suit and looks a solid e/w bet to me at the forecast price of 11/2. 2.5 Points e/w.

Onto 22/5/10 , this Saturday brings a fine days racing , too much to choose from infact. Lets see if i have found some decent bets.
My first bet will be in the 3:40 York , Hamish McGonagall. This horse was fierce unlucky not to win last year , being placed on its first seven starts. Was held up at Beverley and stayed on very well on this years re-appearance to finish 3rd , then going to Chester and running a cracker finishing 2nd and is handicapped to go very close tomorrow. Has won off a mark of 95 and runs off 92 tomorrow. 5 furlongs is its trip and the good ground will suit. David Allan has rode this horse 25 times so knows the horse very well. Easterby is in scintillating form , the horse is a course and distance winner and there is no reason why this horse will be out of the places tomorrow at the forecast price of 5/1 and at the moment there is 16 runners declared and if it stays that way they are paying 4 places. Looks a cracking e/w bet. 2 Points e/w.
My second wager comes in the 3:50 Goodwood , Avonmore Star. This horse is Son of Avonbridge out of winning half-sister to 3 talented horses over 1 mile to 1 mile 2.. Made a very impressive debut when staying on strongly into 3rd after a very slow start and this maiden tomorrow is mostly newcomers so i feel this horse will make the experience tell tomorrow. On his debut , the horse he finished 3rd to , Lord Avon , has contested a Class 2 a couple of days ago and only went down by less than 2 lengths to a very highly regarded 2 year old Cape To Rio so i feel the form has been franked. The shrewd and dangerous Richard Hannon trains and i fancy it to go close at the forecast price of 7/1. 4 Points win.
My last bet is just a tentative e/w selection in the 4:05 Haydock , Rowayton. This is a big filly who has been placed on both her starts this year , travels supremely well but didnt seem to quicken in the last furlong. Interestingly tomorrow the horse wears chiekpieces tomorrow and that might spark sufficient improvement to see this horse win. Also interestingly the Dazzler Daryl Holland takes the ride for the first time tomorrow , he is a very forceful jockey in a finish , and this horse might go very close at the forecast price of 7/1. 1 Point e/w.

Friday 21/5/10 will hopefully be a great start to the weekend. I hope i have found 3 decent bets.
My first bet comes at the 2:40 Chepstow , Landucci. This horse is a prolific winner at 7 furlongs and 1 mile , won 3 times in 2009. Didnt perform too well in a seller 4 days ago , but i will forgive him that run as he is always a threat in this grade tomorrow. Is a course and distance winner here at Chepstow , runs at his best on good ground , might not have been suited by the Leicester track last time out and is back at a track it likes. Sophie Doyle takes off a valuable 5 pounds and i expect this horse to go very close tomorrow at the forecast price of 13/2. 2.5 Points e/w.
My next bet will be in the 3:00 Yarmouth , Big Sur. This is a half-brother to several winners and ran a fine race staying on very strongly at the death when 4th in a maiden at Lingfield in November. Was favourite last time out but completely flopped over 1 mile 2 furlongs when he really should have stayed the trip but tomorrow he is stepping back to a mile. Bettr things must be expected of this horse if it went off favourite last time out and looks too big a price in this very weak Class 6 handicap at the forecast price of 10/1. 1.5 Points e/w.
My last bet comes in the 4:30 Yarmouth , Barbirolli. This is a hold up performer who sometimes travels very well in races. Is fully exposed but has never raced over this longer trip of 1 mile 6 furlongs tomorrow so i feel the horse might be showing a bit extra at home if they are going to try him over a longer trip as i cant see why they would wait til he was 8 years old to do so if he was actually fully exposed. Has won his races off marks of 65 , 59 , 48 , 50 , and 47 and tomorrow runs off 46 so at the weight hold every chance if staying this longer trip. Ground will be no problem and Laura Pike takes off another 7 pounds so has a featherweight tomorrow and might have a squeak at the forecast price of 16/1. 1 Point e/w.

Another good day today. Imperialistic Diva looked a sure winner but was done on the line , 2nd @ 12/1. Kingaroo could only manage 6th but Flying Doctor was an emphatic winner , cruised home @ 9/4.

Thursday 20/5/10 i am hoping to keep my good streak going. Hopefully i have found some good bets.
In the 2:10 Southwell , Kingaroo. This horse has been running mainly on turf of late but does not run well on turf at all, always runs at its best on the all-weather and tomorrow is an all-weather race. He ran here in April on his first run of the year and finished 3rd to Scruffy Skip who will probably be favourite tomorrow. Kingaroo ran off 50 that day and Scruffy Skip ran off 51 , and Scruffy Skip runs off 65 tomorrow so Kingaroo is definately weighted to turn the tide of that run as he is 16 pound better off tomorrow and only lost by 4 lengths. Has won off of 52 over course and distance and has run off a mark as hugh as 63 so running off 49 tomorrow i feel he has a very decent chance. Jamie Mackay takes the ride for the first time and im expecting a big run at the forecast price of 16/1. 2 Points e/w.
At Haydock in the 1:50 i will be having a bet on Imperialistic Diva. This is a second foal of Imperialistic , who was a winner over course and distance at 2 years old and up to a mile after that. Graham Gibbons has been riding very well of late and he has a very good record when he rides for Easterby , had a winner for him the other day on Bollin Dolly so i think that is significant. Could figure at a very good price tomorrow. Forecast price is 14/1. 1 Point e/w.
Finally my last bet comes in the 4:15 Wetherby , Flying Doctor. This horse had very poor form until backed off the boards (33/1 into 6/1) on his reappearance and winning comfortably. Then it followed up impressively but last time out just found the weight too much in a competitive race. This horse is clearly in great shape and ought to go very well again despite a further 6lb rise, i feel this is a weaker race than last time. Has won at the course , travels very well , trip is no problem and Miss Jenny Carr is one of the better lady riders so this horse should go close at the forecast price of 4/1. 4 Points win.

Wednesday 19/5/10 brings another day. Hopefully i can find a few good bets.
My first bet comes in the 4:45 Lingfield , Castleburg. This is a lightly raced filly who won a 1 mile handicap here in March. Fergus Sweeney seems to get the best tune out of this horse and he is back on board tomorrow. Is a course and distance winner, the Moore stable is very dangerous here and the race it won in March was a Class 5, this is a Class 6 Claiming stakes tomorrow so i think could easily figure tomorrow at the forecast price of 12/1. 1 Point e/w.
Next onto the 5:05 Kelso i will be having a bet on Moment Of Madness. This was a fairly reliable handicap chaser when with Tim Fitzgerald , and has won a few recent point-to-points which should put him right into the mix here tomorrow. Was once running off a mark of 108 so if retaining its ability will figure im sure. Seems to run best on good ground which it has tomorrow and i think it can put up a good show at the forecast price of 12/1. 2 Points e/w.
Finally my last bet will be in the 5:40 Kelso , Mr Jay Dee. This horse was favourite when runner-up at Bangor on debut , then disappointed at Sedgefield 2 weeks later , going off 11/8 favourite but beaten 24 lengths into 3rd place. This horse i feel will relish better ground tomorrow as its 2 runs have been on soft going , i think this horse has a major chance tomorrow and Swinbank's record in bumpers speaks for itself. 2 miles should suit perfectly and could take a lot of beating at the forecast price of 7/4. 4 Points win.

Fantastic day today. Midget was in the places , 4th @ 6/1. Musical Script delighted me with a cosy 11/1 win. Bursary ran a fine race but came up against a good Stoute horse. Great day.

Tuesday 18/5/10 is hopefully another good day.
My first bet comes in the 3:00 Nottingham , Midget. This horse is very lightly raced and clearly has potential as it won on its debut for Michael Magnusson last summer. Since then it changed stables to D Carroll , finishing 5th on its first outing for this stable and i will forgive its last run as he completely missed the break. The race he won was at Beverley on good to firm ground so tomorrows conditions are perfect. Runs the same trip of 5 furlongs also and Carroll is a shrewd trainer, im sure when he took this horse in, he is planning a win with it. Winners have come out of the race it won and i think this horse can go well at the forecast 20/1. 1 Point e/w.
My second bet comes in the 3:20 Brighton , Musical Script. This horse is best suited to a very fast run race which i think it will get tomorrow. It is winless since December 2008 and has never been successful on turf , but last time out on turf at Warwick over 6 furlongs , it was staying on very fast at the finish so this trip of 7 furlongs tomorrow should be right up its alley and with a reproduction will figure i feel. This horse has won off a mark of 70 and runs off 55 tomorrow so if fully fit should fill a place and might win at the forecast price of 7/1. 2 Points e/w.
My final bet comes in the 4:30 Nottingham , Bursary. This is a very well bred son of Elusive Quality and cost a big 350,000 dollars as a yearling so good things can be expected im sure , maybe not tomorrow but he could very easily win tomorrow. Frankie Dettori takes the mount for Mark Johnston whos horses are very game , tough to pass and this horse could be a very talented one and i shall have a bet at the forecast price of 5/1. 4 Point win.
Very decent day today. Jetnova ran a fine race finishing 3rd @ 14/1. Tabaran won very cosily by 6 lengths in a very competitive race @ 9/2. My other selection Lieutenant Miller was a disappointment, going off favourite but only managing 6th. Overall a good day.

New week. Monday 17/5/10 brings another day and i shall be sticking to Newton Abbot's jumps card today, i hope i have found some decent bets.
In the 2:20 , i like Jetnova. This horse is having its first run for Alan King tomorrow and is very interesting. It won an Irish maiden at the 5th attempt in April 2009 , and has been off the track for over a year now. I think Alan King does very well with his new recruits , Choc Thornton takes the ride , is in a moderate race and i think it could be a solid e/w bet at the forecast price of 6/1. 1 Point e/w.
Next to the 3:20 , i will be backing Tabaran. This horse has progressed very well this year , has really impressed me anyhow. He won a seller at Stratford and won a handicap here at Newton Abbot over 2 miles 6 furlongs during March/April and has ran two solid races since. This horse is a front runner and travels well and is now dropped back to 2 miles 3, so i reckon this horse could have the race won 2 furlongs out if it travels the way it has done recently. When it won at Newton Abbot, it comprehensively beat a horse called Markington who has come out since and ran a very creditable 2nd at Ludlow , losing out to Moghaayer of Nicky Hendersons. I think this horse will go very close tomorrow at the forecast price of 6/1. 2 Points e/w.
Last of all the 4:50 , i will be backing Lieutenant Miller. Nicky Henderson has an exceptional record in bumpers , and even though on pedigree he doesnt jump out a mile as he is by Beat All , he is also a sister to General Miller who is an exceptional horse, winning at Cheltenham in a class event this year. McCoy takes the ride and is a forecast price of 9/2 , but i really doubt that will be available tomorrow. Should go close. 4 Points win.

Nt the best of days today. Sphere travelled well for a long way but faded tamely at the finish. Bet Noir was non-runner and Our Jim was 4th, just out of the places. Onwards and upwards.

Sunday 16/5/10 brings another day of racing. I will be sticking to the jumps today.
My first bet comes in the 2:00 Market Rasen , just a tentative selection , Sphere. This horse has won a 1 and 1/2 mile seller on the flat and was returned to a similar level last time out when finishing 5th of 11 at Uttoxeter. The ground that day was good to soft but the ground it won on before was good so i think this better ground tomorrow will see him in better light. I think its open to a bit of improvement , and obviously the favourite will be very hard to beat , but he might sneak a place at the forecast 10/1. 1 Point e/w.
My second bet comes in the 3:20 Stratford , Bet Noir. This horse has been a disappointing maiden on the flat. Then was runner-up three times over hurdles in 2009. It is a very risky horse but it is a muck race and if reproducing some of his placed efforts, should win this tomorrow. Goes best on good ground , and a very handy claimer aboard in Anthony Freeman. Im expecting this horse to go very close tomorrow as he should be fresh from a break, 2 miles is the right trip for him too at a forecast 5/1. 4 Points win.
Our Jim is running again tomorrow in the 3:30 Market Rasen and i already had a write-up done for him so if you read back onto my last page of my blog, you shall be able to see the reasonings for fancying him. Tomorrow is a forecast price of 8/1. 2 Points e/w.

Even though my Nap could only manage 3rd today , it was still a very good profitable day. Green Moon romped home at 11/1 with a super front-running ride by Spencer. My other selection was poor.

Saturday 15/5/10 brings another good day of racing. I will be sticking to Newbury today.
My first bet is in the 2:30 , Green Moon. This is a very lightly raced horse and was well held on debut in October. 2 weeks later it ran again and finished a very creditable 4th of 15 behind a decent Godolphin horse and that race has thrown up winners. On its only other run at Leicester over 1 mile 1 furlong , it destroyed the field by 5 lengths and i think this horse is open to a lot more improvement as it is out of Montjeu. Is its first handicap , runs off 82 and the booking of Spencer look significant and i think this horse can go well at the forecast price of 10/1. 1.5 Points e/w
Onto the 3:40 , i will be backing Desert Phantom. This horse is down in grade , as it was a Listed winner at 2 years old. Then had a long lay-off and ran a poor enough return, and that was its only run last year. Ran a respectable return lately over 5 furlongs at Newbury off 95 , is dropped to 94 and is running over a more suitable 6 furlongs. Richard Hughes is a significant jockey booking and if anywhere near its best , should definately be battling out the finish at the forecast price of 11/1. 1 Point e/w.
My NAP comes in the 4:15 , Plume. This horse has only had the two runs. On its debut it was well beaten by Pipette at Salisbury but Hannon knows how to ready a horse and on its only other outing , it beat Posy Fossil by 4 and 1/2 lengths at Haydock over 6 furlongs last September. That day, the horse wasnt even shoved along, won on the bridle. Good to firm ground suits as that was the ground it won on at Haydock , is up in trip to 7 furlongs but that is no problem as it shaped like further would suit as it didnt even come off the bridle over 6, showed electric cruising speed. Richard Hughes rides and this horse could be anything, it could be very special and would be overpriced at the forecast price of 4/1. 5 Point win.

Friday 14/5/10 brings another good day of racing.
Newbury 4:00 brings my first selection , Bournefree. It is having its first run out tomorrow and moight be just out for the run but is related to several winners and a half-sister to 3 more. Has a speedy pedigree out of Tiger Hill and i like the trainer Kirk so i think it is overpriced at the forecast 20/1 and might run a solid race. 1 Point e/w.
In the 4:20 at York i will be backing Ingleby Lady. This horse was a very progressive sprinter in 2009, winning twice prior to going down narrowly in the Ayr Bronze Cup in September. Interestingly this horse won first-time out last year , and the yard is in red-hot form. Is running off a fair 92, is running fresh and i can see this one going very close at a good e/w price at the forecast 10/1. Its my nap. 2.5 Points e/w.
Lastly onto the 5:10 at Newbury , Shooting Party. This horse has looked like 1 mile 2 was his trip but for some reason in recent attempts has faded badly. My reckoning for that was the soft ground, and is back on good ground tomorrow and running fresh. This is a lightly-raced horse and is back to its last and only winning mark of 70, where it won at Windsor over just over 1 mile on good ground , and that was a fairly decent race. Hannon knows how to get one ready, a slight worry would be Richard Hughes riding the favourite for a different stable but who knows the reasoning for that. Looks overpriced to me at a forecast 16/1. 1.5 Points e/w.

Super day today... Joe Packet ran a great race, finishing 3rd and looked like a winner 2 furlongs out, and there was a huge gamble on himm as i predicted , was 3rd @ 15/2.. Hollins won very cosily , winning by 6 lengths at 9/1 , crucifying the field from a long way out and my other selection was a non-runner. Great day.

Thursday , 13/5/10 , another good days racing. Hopefully i have found some value.
Firstly to the 4:45 Salisbury , i like Joe Packet. This horse was runner-up twice in 2 year old maidens up to 7 furlongs but hadnt seen this years races out so i think this step back in trip to 6 furlongs will surely aid his chances tomorrow. This horse ran over 6 furlongs at Windsor last July on good to firm ground and ran a blinder , finishing 2nd at a huge price , and finished 2 places ahead of a horse called Yaa Wayl , who came out the other day and won a very competitive race at Chester. Then at Salisbury he again ran over 6 furlongs on good to firm ground and was again 2nd. Since then he has been ran over a mile and 7 furlongs so you can see why i must fancy this horses chances now dropped back to 6 furlongs. Has also ran off 77 a few starts back and runs off a low mark of 70 tomorrow. David Probert takes the ride for the Portman stable, who have had a few large gambled horses recently so dont be surprised if this horse is well backed tomorrow and im expecting a good run at the forecast price of 16/1. 2 Points e/w.
Onto York 4:55 , i give an e/w squeak to Hollins. This is a very lightly-raced horse and interestingly made a winning return last year over 1 mile 2 furlongs at Pontefract in July. Hasnt been very impressive since but did have a win over hurdles at Kelso. Interestingly, Hollins is back to its last winning mark of 70 and has won fresh as he did last year. In that race last year, he comprehensively disposed of Jeer by 11 lengths who also runs in this race tomorrow. Freddie Tylicki knows this horse as he has won on him, has a handy 3 pound claim , goes well fresh and has an e/w squeak for me at a forecast 25/1. 1 Point e/w.
Perth 5:40 brings my last bet. Forcefield has improved with each start to date , second over course and distance on heavy going last month. Stayed on well that day but i think good ground might see even more improvement in this horse. I think he was beat by a decent horse in Skipper Robin that day, and it ran a cracker considering the price, if connections fancy this tomorrow i think it has a right chance at the forecast price of 10/1. 2 Points e/w.

Tartan Gunna runs a solid race today, finishing 3rd @ 15/2. Boomtown was to my dismay 4th, 1 away from a profitable day and Omokoroa travelled well for a long way but faded late on. Onwards and upwards.

Onto Wednesday 12/5/10. I am sticking to York and Exeter today.
In the 1:40 i like TARTAN GUNNA. This is a very consistent gelding who notched 4 wins up to 9 furlongs in 2009. Ran very respectably over the Rowley Mile at Newmarket on its last run, finishing 5th of 16. Is dropped a pound from 90 to 89 and i feel Johnston has been preparing him for this race with a nice 20,000 on offer. Fanning takes the ride and looks a solid e/w bet at a forecast 9/1. 2 Points e/w
My nap today has to go to a horse in the 2:20 at Exeter , BOOMTOWN. This horse was successful twice on the flat for Mark Johnston in early 2008. Has been in poor enough form until its last run for the Dyson stable when coming 2nd to Skye But N Ben over 2 mile 1 furlong at Hereford who has since come out and won again. There was a bit of money for it that day , and i think it has a very decent shout tomorrow over the same trip and good ground should be fine. Ran off 84 at Hereford and is only up 1 pound to 85, Liam Treadwell stays in the saddle and this horse should go well at a forecast 8/1. 2 Points e/w
The last bet for me runs in the 3:45 , OMOKOROA. This horse won a handicap in Catterick in mid-2009 and ended year with a career best 2nd at Salisbury. Was 6th last time out on re-appearance over 1 mile 1 and 1/2 furlongs but i feel that trip was too short for it and is stepped up to 1 mile 4 furlongs tomorrow. This horse was 2nd of 14 to Overturn in a very competitive Class 3 Salisbury race two runs back in 2009 , runs off a fair 81 tomorrow and is dropped into a Class 4 race, and although competitive should figure i feel. The Dazzler Daryl Holland takes the ride for the first time also which i find significant as he is a very powerful jockey in a finish. Looks a good e/w bet with bookies paying 1/4 odds first 4 at a forecast price of 14/1. 1 Point e/w.

Onto Tuesday 11/5/10 and i have a couple of nice bets. Im hoping for a profitable day.
First bet is my nap of the day and it comes in the 2:40 at Warwick , SHARP ECLIPSE. This looks the likeliest winner of the race for me. Everything is in favour for this horse to win tomorrow, i am hugely confident it will win. Where to start? Firstly it ran an absolutely cracking race last time out, finishing second to a good horse called Whispered Times at Newcastle last Tuedsay. He ran off 62 that day and it was in a Class 5 race. Tomorrow he runs off the same mark of 62 and is dropped into a weaker Class 6 race. Why i think the form is good is because the horse that finished 3rd that day , Rio Caribe , ran today off 67 and just lost out by a neck which really stands Sharp Eclipse's form in great stead. Fallon takes the mount for Kevin Ryan which is also very significant , the horse will like the firm ground and i cant see anything in the field that will beat this fellow at a forecast 4/1 looks a super bet. 4 Point Win.
Onto Beverley 3:00, i like EMBRA. This horse is running off a very fair mark tomorrow, has won on the good to firm ground already before and has had a nice rest after running a great 2nd at Southwell last November, losing by a length to First Swallow but the 3rd that day , Sherjawy has ran some blinding races since and that stands up the form. The ground should be fine, as should the track and im expecting a decent run at a good each-way price, forecasted 8/1. 1 Point e/w.
My last bet of the day i think has a very good chance also in the 5:40 Warwick , KING ZEAL. I was very impressed with its last run, finishing a very close 3rd to Bajan Pride at Wolverhampton in April. James Rogers rode it that day so the jockey booking of Jimmy Fortune looks very significant, a jockey who is out to save his good reputation. This horse is very lightly raced and i think there could be a lot more to come. Turf will suit no problem and im expecting a very big run at a forecast 8/1. 2 Points e/w

Bad day at the office. I had many winners today with random bets bet none were my blog bets unfortunately. Inshaallah ran the best of the 3, staying on into 6th. Lets forget about today and get back into the black tomorrow.

Monday 10/5/10 brings about a new day and hopefully a good one. I will be sticking to Redcar today and have hopefully found a few nice bets.
In the 3:20 i like ALEQA. This horse was tailed off on its only outing , finishing last of 14 but im not worried about that because C F Wall does not get many first-time out winners at all and usually he is brilliant at bringing a horse on from its first run. That was 213 days ago so im pretty sure a lot of work has gone into this horse since, and could be absolutely anything. The race he ran in last year was a Class 4 and he is now running in Class 5 maiden company tomorrow in what is a pretty weak race and wont take much winning. 50,000 guineas was paid for this horse and is out of Oasis Dream so this 6 furlongs tomorrow should be fine , as should the ground. Ted Durcan has good success when he rides for the trainer so im expecting a big run tomorrow and i wont let the form of his only race put me off having a bet at the forecast 10/1. 2 Points E/W.
Onto the 5:20 , i like INSHAALLAH. This horse has ran in 3 maidens to date and its best effort was when 5th to Solicitor at Southwell last time out. Is running off a fair mark of 50 tomorrow but why i like this horse is because i like horses that are having their first run in a handicap after 3 maiden runs. Some trainers like to give their horses 3 runs in maidens before getting them wound up for a handicap so i find this horse very interesting. Should stay 1 mile and i think can figure at the forecast 14/1. 1 Point E/W.
Finally onto the 5:50 , the horse i will have a nibble on is an outsider , HOTGROVE BOY. This horse is a shot in the dark , is completely out of form but looking through its mediocre form , i see he finished 10th of 13 in a Class 4 event at Newcastle last October. Finishing 5th that day was Sir Pitt who has since come out and won twice , beating odds-on shot On Khee very comfortably. I think the step down in class to Class 6, a drop to a rating of 48 from 52 and coming onto turf instead of the polytrack is going to stand him in good stead and i think he might sneak into the places at a forecast price of 20/1. 2 Points E/W.

Not a great day today. What Luck never was a factor in the race, weakened badly. General Smith was well backed, travelled well until 2 furlongs out and just didnt have it in the tank finishing out of the places. Our Jim was hugely supported but was eventually withdrawn a while before the race. Better luck tomorrow.

After a good day yesterday, i hope for another profitable day. I am going to stick with Uttoxeter today as i think there are a couple of interesting horses there. The first horse i like runs in the 3:30 called What Luck. This horse is still a maiden and has relatively poor form, is also an 8 year old so a long time to be a maiden but was trained by Richard Phillips and Tim Vaughan last season. S Curran has now been training the horse and its his first run for this yard tomorrow so we might see a decent run in what is a poor enough race. What is sort of baffling me is that the first run he is having is in a selling hurdle. So why buy a horse and put him straight into a selling hurdle? My guess is that they bought him, get him really fit and well, try and get him to win on his first outing, sell the horse for more than what he was bought for along with the money they have on the horse. I think they might be out to do a job tomorrow and they have a very handy 7 pound claimer on board with Anthony Freeman. He was 2nd of 17 in a 3 mile race on good to firm ground at Bangor last year and was also 3rd of 11 over 3 miles on good to firm at Worcester 2 runs back last September which suggests to me that the ground and trip are no problem whatsoever tomorrow so at the forecast 14/1 i think its worth a small wager. 1 Point e/w.
Next to the 4:00 Uttoxeter i really think General Smith has a major chance tomorrow. This horse is potentially very well in on the weights and ran an absolute blinder in its last run when 5th of 17 to Exulto and that was a very competitive race, and he could have finished much closer i feel only for being held up for too long. Ran off 91 that day , runs off 90 tomorrow in what is a substantially weaker race so must go close if running to the same form. Has won twice over this distance of 2 miles. Has won off a mark of 96 before and has run off a mark as high as 105 so i think he has a super chance tomorrow if kept up with the pace at a forecast 7/1. 4 Point Win.
Finally the last horse i like runs in the 4:30 by the name of Our Jim. This horse was very impressive when winning by a distance at Wetherby last spring and that was over 3 miles 1 furlong. Why i like this horse's chances tomorrow is because on his two outings since that success, he ran over 2 miles 4 furlongs and still ran very respectably but i think he needs a longer trip and he has got that tomorrow with 3 miles 2 furlongs. The ground should be no problem as he has won on good before, the trip i feel is right up his alley and the jockey in form at the moment , Jason Maguire , takes the ride and at the forecast 8/1 i think is a solid each way bet. 2 Points e/w.

Super day today. Picture This won by 6 lengths at 6/1, routing the field. My nap Flying Doctor cruised to victory also at 9/4. My other selection was 5th and was very unlucky not to be in the 4 places...

Onto Saturday 8/5/10. I am hoping for profit tomorrow for a change. First horse i like runs in the Haydock 3:00 by the name of Picture This. This 3 miles and good ground will suit, as shown when won a very competitive even at Cheltenham recently. Is up 11 pounds , but looks like the horse will improve even more for the great trainer Paul Nicholls. Harry Skelton takes a valuable 3 pounds off. Lightly raced and entitled to improve and the forecast 7/1 is a decent price. 3 Points Win.
The second horse i like runs in the Haydock 3:35 by the name of Conquisto. This horse looks a super hurdler when it destroyed the field on its last outing at Market Rasen last month. Handicapper has been very leniant with him and i think he must have a very decent chance tomorrow. On its last outing, it won by 23 lengths and the race before that he won by 25 lengths so clearly this horse has great potential. Keith Mercer rode last time and rides again tomorrow so im expecting a big run at the forecast 11/1. 1 Point e/w.
Last but not least, my NAP of the day goes to Flying Doctor who runs in the 3:50 at Hexham. This horse ran yesterday and landed one of the biggest gambles of the season, backed from 33/1 into 6/1 favourite and winning comfortably. They are turning him out quickly again i feel because they are expecting another win out of him whilst he is flying fit and in form. This horse was running poorly on soft ground the past few starts but when it got the good ground yesterday, it cherished it and won with plenty in hand. I will be very surprised if this horse doesnt battle out the finish tomorrow and is worthy of a bet and is way overpriced on attheraces's predicted price at 8/1. 5 Point Win.

I am going to stick to Nottingham tomorrow , Friday 7/5/10. The first horse i like is running in the 4:10 by the name of Diamond Twister. Has only had the one success and that was in a Lingfield maiden over 1 mile 2 furlongs in early 2009. Even though it is now running in better company and is relatively fairly handicapped , i think the trip will suit, the ground will suit and is running off a good mark. Runs off 65 tomorrow and last year this horse came 2nd in a 1 mile 2 furlong Lingfield race off 73 so if running to its best must have a huge chance tomorrow and the forecast 11/2 is fair. 5 Point Win.
The second horse comes in the 4:45 at Nottingham , Bahama Baileys. This horse was running very poorly for a long time until its last run finishing 3rd to Rough Rock at Folkestone. A jockey i have never heard of, Hobie Gill rode it that day and a more known jockey Amy Scott rides tomorrow, lets not forget this is an apprentice race tomorrow so there must be caution. This horse has ran off 80 before so running off 46 tomorrow and with that run behind it, i think it has a very good chance tomorrow at the forecast 8/1. 1 Point e/w.
Last but not least we go to the 5:15 Nottingham , i like a horse called Sultans Way. This horse travels fairly well but has been running over longer trips which just dont suit this horse in my view. He shapes like a sprinter so this 6 furlongs should be well within his range. Is running off 55 tomorrow and is steadily dropping in the weights as he has ran off 71. Again an apprentice race, but a handy apprentice is on board. Entitled to be thereabout at the finish at a forecast 15/2. 3 Points Win.

Not the best of starts but onwards and upwards. Hollow Green ran a very creditable race finishing 3rd @ 8/1. The Magic Bishop went off 6/4 favourite but ran a shocker, went backwards on his previous run, very disappointed with him. Mardood was a huge drifter today which didnt aid my cause, a huge gamble on Flying Doctor was landed in that race.

My first bet tomorrow , Thursday 6/5/10 is a horse called Mardood who runs in the 6:50 race at Wetherby. This horse has progressed very impressively the past few months and i dont think this extra 5 pounds is going to stop him tomorrow. Denis O Regan rides who has won on him 2 starts back on good ground at Catterick and the step up to 2 mile 6 furlongs wont be any bother to this horse in my opinion. The forecast price of 9/4 looks fair enough. 3 Points win
The second horse i like is Hollow Green who runs at Chester in the 5:05. I think the big price available on this horse is due to it being drawn 11, which is not a good draw but over 1 mile 2 furlongs , i think he can get into a decent position early on and get away with the bad draw. Won at Windsor last Monday but the quick return should be no problem as Evans keeps his horses in superb fettle all year round. Last Monday, it beat a decent animal rated 86 in Aurorian from the Hannon stable and i think that race will produce winners. Catherine Gannon rode on Monday but Jimmy Fortune takes over tomorrow which i feel is a plus also. Decent chance for me at a forecast 8/1. 1 Point e/w
There is 1 absolute stand-out horse for me tomorrow and although at skinny odds will take some beating. The Magic Bishop runs at Wetherby in the 5:45. This horse is a half brother to useful chaser/hurdler According To Pete and showed absolutely nothing until its last run when 2nd to Chief Buccaneer here at Wetherby at a huge price. They were miles clear of the rest and that stands him in good stead in this very weak race tomorrow. Ground i think is fine tomorrow and this should be a tough horse to beat. Looks a likely winner to me and i would love the forecast price of 2/1. 5 Points win
