My trainer in focus today is J Hetherton , who has had 3 winners from his last 5 runners , a 60% win strike-rate and the stable is going very well. The stable has 2 runners today:

Bay Of Fires (Redcar 2:00)
Leolene Starlight (Redcar 4:45)

Todays Race-Trace goes to Sir Michael Stoute , who has won the "Come Shopping At Castlepoint" Dougland Support Services Maiden Stakes 2 times in the past 3 years. Todays this race takes place twice , in the 3:20 and 3:55 and Stoute is represented in both. Is certainly worth a look as both horses have good chances:

There are 2 trainers today that are course specialists in a specific type of race. Mick Channon is 2/2 , a 100% win strike-rate at Claimers in Salisbury in the past 4 years. He runs Affordable there today in the 2:45 and is worth a look.
The other horse im interested in is Baren De Doc , Southwell 6:35. Tim Vaughan is 2/2 , a 100% win strike-rate in handicap chases at Southwell this year and this horse seems to have a very good chance.

I will be having 2 bets today.

My first bet comes in the 2:00 Redcar , Bay Of Fires. This horse ran a very good maiden , finishing 2 and 1/2 lengths to Minch Man and even though it ran green that was expected but travelled very well that day. Should come on for the run that day. Interestingly when S De Sousa rides for J Hetherton this year , he is 2/3 , a 67% win strike-rate. De Sousa is 15/124 at the track , a 12% SR but has an impressive profit of +25.33 to level stakes. J Hetherton is 4/17 at the track , a 24% SR and has a profit of +12.00 to level stakes. I will be having an e/w bet.

My second bet comes in the 6:50 Bangor , Sefton Park. This horse is a poor maiden on the flat but is now running over hurdles for the first time today and what i find of interest is that he is a half-brother to 2 winning hurdlers , Astrolibra and Rajayoga. Is out of Dansili so the breeding is good. Hopefully the horse will improve for the switch to hurdles. Interestingly when Paddy Brennan rides for C Egerton , he is 2/3 in the past 4 years , a 67% win SR. He doesnt ride often for Egerton so this looks a significant jockey booking. Another e/w bet for me.
