THURSDAY 10/6/10
My trainer in focus vote today goes to Sir Mark prescott , who has had 6 wins in his last 15 runners , a 40% win SR. He has 2 horses out today and both have strong claims :
Motrice (Yarmouth 5:00)
Allanah Abu (Yarmouth 5:30)
My race-trace today goes to G L Moore , who has won the Bet365.com Beginners Chase at Fontwell the last 2 years in a row , a 100% SR. He runs Wade Farm Billy in the 6:30 and it has strong claims.
I have 3 trainers for my Course Specialists Vote today:
J Pearce is 2/2 , 100% SR in 3 year old + handicaps this year. He runs Ghufa in the 6:50 Haydock.
S Gollings is 2/2 , 100% SR in 3 year old handicaps this year. He runs Count Beroni in the 4:00 Nottingham.
T Vaughan is 3/3 , 100% SR in sellers/claiming hurdles this year. He runs Mhilu in the 8:10 Uttoxeter.
My e/w Lucky 15 today is at Newbury , €1 e/w advised = €30 stake
Candleshoe (2:30)
Dream Number (4:50)
Fantastic Cuix (5:20)
Lunar Limelight (5:50)
I am having 1 Bet for my Blog today , a horse i am very interested in....
Mushreq , Nottingham 5:10. This horse cost a whopping $850,000 and is out of the Oaks winner Casual Look. It ran 2 respectable races last year and has now had a break of 251 days. The extra furlong should suit today and im sure Sir Michael Stoute will have this horse fully prepared for todays race which is a very winnable maiden. The amount of money paid for the horse suggests it has to have ability. It is Sir Michael Stoutes only horse at the meeting today and he is the leading trainer at Nottingham. Interestingly when Richard Hills has teamed up with Stoute this season he is 3/4 , a 75% win strike-rate which is impressive , and also shows a profit of +8.28 to level stakes. I will be very disappointed if this horse does not win today and it is a max bet for me.
4 Point Win @ 11/8 (General , GP)
My Tip for the World Cup this year is Brazil. They tick all the right boxes for me , they have a solid defence and a good goalkeeper for a change which makes them a very strong force. Interestingly any World Cup held outside of Europe has ALWAYS been won by a South American team. It would also be very fitting as they host the next World Cup.
I recommend a bet on Brazil @ 5/1.
I recommend an e/w bet on Luis Fabiano to be top scorer @ 12/1.
