My Race Trace today goes to Kevin Prendergast at the Curragh where he has won the Evening Herald - Fridays Leinster Rugby Supplement Maiden the past 2 years running. He runs Green Art in the 8:40 tonight and that is certainly worth noting.

Again today i am only having one bet. I was very unfortunate not to have been in profit yesterday. My selection today comes in the 7:15 Tramore , TABAAHI. This horse thus far has very poor form , it reads (000-0) but is trained by Gordon Elliot who is a very good trainer and superb at improving a horse. The horse is still very unexposed so improvement eventually will be expected. What interests me today is Barry Geraghty riding the horse today which is a very significant jockey booking. A very interesting statistic is that when Barry Geraghty teams up with Gordon Elliot at Tramore they are 2/2 , 100% strike-rate. For that reason alone , it makes this horse very interesting. This is a handicap hurdle but is a handicap of the lowest order , the race wont take much winning at all , and with 16 runners and 4 places on offer i think this horse is worth a bet. Barry Geraghty has a record of 4/24 at Tramore , a 17% win strike-rate. Definately worth an e/w bet for me.
